Father of Jordan Neely, Andre Zachary
Andre Zachary, the father of Jordan Neely—the “unhinged maniac” whose violent outbursts on a New York subway ended in tragedy—held a fiery press conference outside the Manhattan courthouse.
This followed the not-guilty verdict for Daniel Penny, the Marine veteran who subdued Neely during a life-threatening altercation.
Far from the innocent figure portrayed by far-left voices, Jordan Neely had a criminal record spanning over a decade.
His 42 arrests included charges of assault, attempted kidnapping, and violent behavior, with his last known crime involving a brutal attack on a 67-year-old woman in 2021. At the time of his death, he had an active warrant for assault.
The media’s portrayal of Neely as a “tragic victim” ignores his violent history and the reality of the threat he posed that day. The father now cries foul failed to intervene during Neely’s years of turmoil.
“I just want to say I miss my son,” Zachary said.
“My son didn’t have to go through this. I didn’t have to go through this either. It hurts. It really, really hurts. What are we going to do, people? What’s going to happen to us now? I had enough of this. The system is rigged. Come on, people. Let’s do something about this,” he added.

Zachary, who for years disregarded his son’s over 40 arrests, a felony assault charge, homelessness, drug addiction, and mental health struggles, is now expressing concern for his son.
He has filed a lawsuit accusing Penny of negligence, assault, and battery, actions he claims led to the death of his unarmed 30-year-old son on May 1, 2023, aboard a filthy underground train.
BREAKING Jordan Neely’s parents sue Daniel Penny over death of their son. Nevermind they abandoned him when he posed a danger to them and and forced him to live out on the street for years instead of having him institutionalized.

Adding to the circus was Gwen Carr, mother of Eric Garner, who seized the spotlight to lament a perceived “injustice system.” Carr drew parallels between Neely’s death and her son’s tragic demise.
Carr’s theatrics seemed designed to stoke public outrage while glossing over inconvenient truths.
Gwen Carr: Here we stand once again in front of this injustice system. I stood here 10 years ago because they did not give justice to my son with the chokehold.
I fought hard to get the anti-chokehold bill passed, which did pass. But it shouldn’t only be for police officers—it should be for civilians also. No one deserves to be choked to death. We’re in that courtroom, and people are cheering for the verdict. They made the loudest noise.
The judge did nothing. But when his father spoke out, they put him out of the courtroom. Is that justice, or what? We can’t allow this to keep going on. We have to fight this system. That’s what I had to do.
I had to fight to get the little justice that I got. I got one police officer fired. There’s more that need to be fired. But I tell this family, do not give up because that’s what they want you to do.
They want to discourage you just like they tried to discourage me. But 10 years later, I’m still fighting. I’m not only fighting for myself, I’m fighting for families like yourself. That’s why I have to come out when this injustice is done.
If this had been the other way, if your family had murdered this so-called innocent guy now, it would have been a different story. He would have been in jail or would have never come out.
But they don’t do the same to us. It’s two justice systems, and we have to stop this. The only way that we can stop it is to stand together. Those of us who are against what happened—we have to speak up.
