President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met at the White House this week to discuss global trade and the war on terror in Gaza and the Mideast. American-Israeli observer Avi Abelow explains the significance of this meeting and what it has to do with the economic war with the Chinese Communist Party.
Too many in the West still view Israel’s war through a narrow, local lens. They see Gaza, Hezbollah, Houthi attacks in the Red Sea, and they conclude: “This is just another Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It will pass.”
They are wrong.
What we are witnessing is nothing less than a global battle for the future of the free world — with Israel at the very center.
As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Donald Trump hold their historic meeting, the full significance of this moment is being missed by most commentators. It is not just a military discussion. Nor is it only about the regional balance of power. It is about the convergence of military and economic strategies that will shape the global order for decades to come.
Two major transformations are underway.
The first is military: dismantling Iran’s terror network and rebalancing power across the Middle East.
The second is economic: restructuring global trade routes to break free of the stranglehold of the Chinese Communist Party — and their junior partners, the terror-sponsoring state of Qatar.
Make no mistake: these two fronts are inseparable.
For decades, China has been quietly capturing the global trade system. Through ports, infrastructure projects, and partnerships with rogue regimes, Beijing has sought to dominate the flow of goods and energy. And they have done so by relying heavily on instability in the Middle East, fueled by Iran and Qatar.
Iran funds and arms terror proxies across the region — Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, the Houthis in Yemen, and countless militias in Syria and Iraq.
Qatar, for its part, plays a more insidious role: funding radical Islamist movements, controlling global media narratives through its Al Jazeera propaganda arm, and serving as the banker for Hamas while pretending to play mediator.
Their shared goal is clear: keep the region in flames so that global trade routes remain captive to Chinese and Islamist influence.
President Trump, together with Prime Minister Netanyahu, understands the stakes. His vision is to create secure, alternative trade corridors running through Israel, connecting the Gulf states to Europe. This would not only revive Western economic vitality but also undercut China’s dangerous grip on global commerce.
But none of this can happen if Israel is encircled by terror.
This is why the current war is not just about Israel’s survival — it’s about economic freedom for the entire free world.
Our enemies understand this better than many Western policymakers. This is why they have launched an unprecedented, coordinated assault on Israel. We are fighting on seven active fronts:
– Hamas in Gaza.
– Hezbollah in Lebanon.
– Iranian militias in Syria.
– Houthi pirates in the Red Sea.
– Iranian cells worldwide.
– Riots and unrest in Judea and Samaria.
– And dangerous political sabotage from within Israel itself, emboldened by foreign money and influence.
The attack on Israel is an attack on the free world. If Israel falls, the dream of secure, independent global trade collapses with it. China, Iran, and Qatar will have succeeded in chaining the West to their agenda.
But here’s the historical and even biblical truth: they will not succeed.
We are living in prophetic times. A time when the modern State of Israel, no longer weak and dependent, is emerging as a regional and even global power — militarily, economically, and spiritually. This is not just necessary for Israel’s survival. It is essential for global stability.
From the days of the Bible, Israel was meant to be a blessing to the nations. The prophets foresaw a time when Israel would rise as a light unto the world, bringing prosperity, justice, and moral clarity. That time is not a distant dream — it is our reality, unfolding before our eyes.
For the free world to thrive, Israel must not only survive — Israel must *win*.
Victory over the terror armies.
Victory over the regimes funding them.
Victory over the global networks of influence that seek to isolate and weaken us.
The upcoming Trump-Netanyahu meeting is a crucial step in this larger war for civilization. It represents the alignment of leaders who understand that a strong, secure Israel is not a luxury — it is a necessity for a safer, more prosperous world.
The West needs to wake up to this reality.
Israel is not fighting “another local conflict.”
Israel is fighting *your* battle too.
With victory, we will not only secure our borders and our people. We will open the doors to a new era of economic independence, security, and shared prosperity for the free world.
And with God’s help, as in the days of our ancestors, we will prevail.
