The left showed once again that they are no match for President Trump in any fashion, including on humor, after their effort to troll the president backfired spectacularly on Tuesday.
As Axios reported, the Democratic National Committee commandeered a taco truck in front of the Republican National Committee’s headquarters on Capitol Hill with a graphic of Trump in a chicken suit and the “Trump Always Chickens Out” slogan.
The truck was supposed to be there between noon and 2 pm on Tuesday and serve free tacos.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, a so-called reporter portrayed Trump as a ‘chicken’ because of his approach to negotiating tariffs. Liberal stockbrokers have been reportedly telling one another to TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out) when hedging their bets on Trump’s trade policies.
But she was not ready for the Trump smackdown that followed. He called the question “nasty” and thoroughly humiliated her with a series of cold, hard facts on what was happening in trade behind the scenes.
But despite this obvious smear, Democrats felt emboldened that they had found a way to get under Trump’s skin.
“With his idiotic trade policy, he talks a big game, caves, and then leaves working families and small businesses to deal with the fallout,” DNC chair Ken Martin said in a statement obtained by Axios.
“Trump always chickens out — we’re just bringing the tacos to match,” he added.
Not surprisingly, the stunt turned into a spectacular failure, as conservative journalists caught the taco truck man packing up and leaving early.
On Taco Tuesday, no less.

I caught them packing up. The truck, run by Vandal Taco, seemed to have some agreement with the two gentleman helping him pack up the sign. They said “we’ll square up with you later” and “we’ll definitely use you again in the future.”
