In just his first 200 days back in the White House, President Trump has brokered peace deals around the world and shows no sign of stopping.
Scott Jennings took on the leftists at CNN who are so consumed by Trump Derangement Syndrome they can’t admit that Trump is helping broker peace across the globe.
In August, the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev, signed a historical peace agreement brokered by President Trump, aiming to put an end to almost four decades of a bloody Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
In May, President Trump announced that India and Pakistan have agreed to a “full and immediate ceasefire,” concluding a period of intense cross-border hostilities that had escalated to the most severe confrontation between the two nuclear-armed neighbors in decades.
In June, President Trump announced that, after three decades of war, a US-brokered peace agreement had been reached between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Also in June, President Trump intervened to prevent a potential flare-up between Serbia and Kosovo, whose relations have been tense since Kosovo declared independence in 2008.
After tensions between Israel and Iran erupted into open war after Israel launched attacks on Iranian military and nuclear facilities on June 13, Trump announced a ceasefire agreement on June 24.
In July, the President announced that Cambodia and Thailand had reached a ceasefire and peace after days of fighting over a border dispute.
While discussing the war in Ukraine and Trump’s impending peace negotiations, Jennings told the panel, “I think he’s saying what’s realistic, which is that this only ends with a negotiated settlement. Both parties are going to have to go home and feel like they got out of this with something that looks like a victory. I don’t think there’s ever going to be a scenario where Putin goes back to Moscow and takes a knee and waves a white flag. You certainly don’t want that for Zelenskyy because the Ukrainians are the victims here. They’re the ones who’ve been invaded.”
“Something’s going to have to happen on the edges if you want it to end. I think there’s new public opinion polling in Ukraine that indicates the people there are very fatigued by this war. They’re certainly hoping for it to end sooner rather than later. The head of the NATO Secretary General is acknowledging publicly that, yes, there’s going to have to be some concessions here to get the war to end.”
“The President has solved seven conflicts this year. I’m willing to give him some latitude to talk to Vladimir Putin and break the deadlock and try to move us toward a place where the killing comes to an end, because I think that’s what we should all be praying for.”
One of the panelists tried to downplay the extraordinary successes, saying, “He actually hasn’t solved seven conflicts. There’s been a lot of talk about that.”
Jennings shot back, “What reality do you live in? He’s literally got these guys in the White House where they’re signing documents and shaking hands.”
(Crosstalk)
“Acknowledge the man is solving peace.”
“It happens on almost a weekly basis.”
“Just acknowledge it. Just acknowledge it.”
Watch:
I’m not going to let Trump Derangement Syndrome buffoons LIE about the president’s record of peacemaking around the globe.
There are too many Democrats outright rooting for failure. It’s why they have a 33% approval rating. pic.twitter.com/dJ16sSM8OZ
