War Room’s Steve Bannon and energy consultant Dave Walsh discussed the massive amount of energy that will be required to run AI data centers. Bannon also pointed out the hypocrisy of these tech oligarchs and their push for energy. He explained that they wanted to limit energy production and leftist agendas until they needed it to benefit them. He also called AI a power grab for these elites.
“Every TV ad of a Democrat in New Jersey is that we are gonna solve the affordability issue by taking care of your electric bill. I mean, they are so brazen. The people that got you here are so brazen that now they are going to take care of it,” Bannon commented.
“We initiated on this forum the conspiracy thought process about four years ago that renewables and the shortage of what were causing a massive shortage of electricity and gonna lead to massive, massive price hikes, and now suddenly within the last few months, everybody is on board,” Walsh explained.
“Including Bill Gates who had this terrific epiphany and turnaround this week now acknowledging an industrial economy cannot be powered based on renewals,” Walsh said.
“Bill by the way is a massive investor in AI and data center who activities who need massive quantities of baseload power,” Walsh continued.
Bannon weighed in on the hypocrisy of these tech elites and pointed out that they were going to make huge amounts of money with restructuring to accommodate AI. He correctly explained that the climate change agenda is going to be in their way, so they need to stop focusing on that narrative.
“They are not having a revelation. They understand that climate change is gonna get in the way. Their sustainability stuff is all crap because they need to fire up, and they don’t care if they put a nuclear power plant in your backyard,” Bannon said.
“If they don’t get these data centers up and running and they are gonna raise a quarter of a trillion dollars and do it right now in the debt markets, then the game is over, correct?” Bannon asked.
“This is totally self-serving also, it’s correct, but it’s self-serving on their part,” Walsh said.
“It’s not as much as the computer equipment, it’s the power generation facilities,” Walsh said.
“These have to run 24 hours a day,” Walsh continued.
“In a lot of regulated states, the regulated utilities are very opposed to and have all kinds of regulations making it very difficult for independent power production to occur,” Walsh explained.
“All kinds of regulatory issues exist as impediments to allowing these firms to build their own power, which we need them to do,” Walsh explained.
“When it comes to them. It comes to the next money grab, which is artificial intelligence. Oh, by the way, that’s gonna take all your jobs,” Bannon warned.
