On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, Kathleen Willey will walk into Federal U.S. Bankruptcy Court to fight for the last thing she has left: her home. If conservatives can rally enough support to show she’s on track to get her mortgage current, the court is likely to postpone the hearing and give her time to work it out.
This is not just a foreclosure battle. It’s a fight against decades of political persecution, media smears, and financial ruin. It’s a fight for justice.
Kathleen Willey’s name became known to the world in 1998, when she bravely testified that President Bill Clinton had sexually groped her in the Oval Office. She didn’t seek the spotlight. She was subpoenaed. She told the truth. And for that, she was punished.
In her own words, Kathleen described how Clinton embraced her tightly, kissed her on the mouth, fondled her breast, and placed her hand on his genitals—all without consent. She was a White House volunteer at the time, seeking help for her husband, Ed Willey, who was facing severe legal and financial trouble. That same day, Ed tragically took his own life.
Kathleen’s testimony was a turning point in the Clinton impeachment saga. But instead of being protected, she was vilified. The media, the establishment, and the Democrat machine did what they always do: they blamed the victim.
Kathleen Willey was one of the earliest victims of what we now recognize as Democrat lawfare, a coordinated strategy to destroy political opponents through legal harassment, financial ruin, and character assassination. It’s a pattern we’ve seen repeated again and again. Weaponize the courts, silence dissent, and punish anyone who dares to speak out.
For Kathleen, the consequences were devastating. She was blacklisted from meaningful employment. Recruiters would recoil when they heard her name. Promising job offers evaporated. She was left to survive on dwindling savings and, eventually, Social Security.
Now, at age 72, Kathleen lives on just $1,318 a month. Her home, the only thing left from her late husband, is under siege by a mortgage company that refuses to negotiate. She pleaded for mercy. She’s asked for a settlement. She’s even uncovered over 200 instances of fraud in a forensic audit. But they won’t budge.
Kathleen isn’t just fighting for herself. She’s fighting for the animals she’s rescued, dogs and cats who depend on her daily care. One of her dogs is blind and relies on her every hour. These animals are her family. They are her purpose. They are what keep her going.
She writes:
“I love this little house in the woods. It’s the only place I can find peace, solace, and some source of serenity. I can’t even let myself think about packing and putting everything into storage. I had surgery on my back last year, and moving seems beyond my abilities.”
Kathleen has no family to lean on. No safety net. No retirement cushion. She still looks for work every day, but at 72, the odds are stacked against her.
