Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has broken her silence after learning that some individuals from her country of birth are finally going to be sent back.
As The Gateway Pundit’s Cassandra MacDonald reported, President Trump delivered a brutal Friday night nuke to the Somali enclave in Minneapolis, Minnesota, announcing the immediate termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Somalis.
This move opens the door to rapid deportations in the heart of Omar’s district.
The termination of TPS for these Somali migrants comes after years of exploding crime and the massive Feeding Our Future Medicaid fraud scandal that saw some of the stolen money funneled to the al-Shabaab terror group.
Omar responded to the news hours later after seeing a Trump fan mock her by saying, “It’s over @IlhanMN go back to where you came from! Deportations are coming, courtesy of @realDonaldTrump.”

Unsurprisingly, Omar was not amused to see this tweet. She arrogantly claimed that this policy would have no effect on her or any Somalis MAGA supposedly hates.
“I am a citizen and so are majority of Somalis in America,” she wrote. “Good luck celebrating a policy change that really doesn’t have much impact on the Somalis you love to hate.”

But Omar might want to rethink that statement.
As MacDonald notes, the vast majority of Somali TPS holders live in Minnesota, which contains the largest Somali population in America. Estimates range from 80,000 to 100,000, and Rep. Ilhan Omar’s congressional district contains the epicenter.
Moreover, Somali gangs are linked to violent crime, human trafficking, and now confirmed terror financing through stolen taxpayer dollars.
ICE data consistently shows that more than 4,000 Somali nationals currently have final orders of removal and are subject to deportation.
There is also speculation that Omar’s own status in America could be at risk considering there is considerable evidence she committed immigration fraud by allegedly marrying her brother.
President Trump has certainly taken notice.
While this TPS policy would not apply to Omar specifically, her words could come back to haunt her if the Trump Adminstration ever decides to seriously pursue a case against her.
