Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs on Saturday reposted Rep. Adelita Grijalva’s video statement, where she claims she was pepper-sprayed “in the face,” pushing an already debunked lie and demonizing federal law enforcement agents.
Hobbs, who stole her election from Kari Lake, said she is in touch with the Department of Homeland Security and “working to ensure there is order and security in our neighborhoods and that the constitutional rights of every Arizonan are protected,” following the completely made up incident.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Grijalva joined radical leftist ICE obstructionists who were attacking agents during a law enforcement operation on Friday, where she claimed she was “pushed aside and pepper-sprayed” after identifying herself as a member of Congress.
In a video statement posted after the incident, she claimed that she “was sprayed in the face by a very aggressive agent, pushed around by others, when I literally was not being aggressive.” She continued, I was asking for clarification, which is my right as a member of Congress.” However, as seen in the clip, there are no signs that she was affected by any type of spray or gas that was deployed on violent leftist rioters at the ICE operation site.

Grijalva later got called out on her obvious lie by DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin after claiming that she was attacked.
Video of the incident even proves that Rep. Grijalva was not pepper-sprayed in the face, and she was actually obstructing ICE agents and refusing their lawful orders to back up. As seen below, while aggressively approaching agents, screaming, clapping, and flailing her arms like an unhinged freak, a pepper ball was fired at the ground near her.

But that didn’t stop Hobbs from chiming in and pushing the false claims by Grijalva and implying that Arizonans’ rights to peacefully protest were violated.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Grijalva on Sunday came out with a new lie, telling MS Now host Jen Psaki that she was “shot at” by agents during the “frightening” encounter.
“One agent said, ‘I don’t care who you are, you need to get out of the way,’” she whined as if being a member of Congress gives her the right to obstruct law enforcement operations.
