A huge fireball erupted after a private jet owned by NASCAR driver Greg Biffle crashed at a North Carolina airport on Thursday morning.
According to the FAA, the Cessna C550 plane crashed at Statesville Regional Airport at 10:15 am.
The plane is owned by NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, according to public records,” WWAY reported.
It is unclear how many people – or if Biffle- was on the plane when it crashed. Multiple fatalities were reported.

The Cessna C550 airplane crashed at Statesville Regional Airport around 10:15 a.m. on Dec. 18.
It was not immediately known exactly how many people were aboard the plane, nor how many.
A picture from the airport showed the plane in a massive ball of flames after it crashed.
