President Trump delivers a solemn address from the Oval Office after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, calling it “a dark moment for America” and vowing justice.
President Trump will deliver an address to the nation tonight at 9 pm ET live on camera from the White House’s Diplomatic Reception Room.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump announced on Wednesday that he would deliver tonight’s address without giving many clues.
“My Fellow Americans: I will be giving an ADDRESS TO THE NATION tomorrow night, LIVE FROM THE WHITE HOUSE, at 9 P.M. EST,” Trump said on Truth Social, teasing the announcement. “It has been a great year for our Country, and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!”
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt later told reporters that the President’s address would be a victory lap for his “accomplishments over the past 11 months, all that he’s done to bring our country back to greatness, and all he continues to plan to do to continue delivering for the American people over the next three years.“

I know you guys will all be tuning in. It’s going to be a really good speech. I was just in the Oval Office with the President discussing it. He’s going to talk a lot about the accomplishments over the past 11 months, all that he’s done to bring our country back to greatness, and all he continues to plan to do to continue delivering for the American people over the next three years.
She further hinted during a Fox News interview that the speech will focus on border security, lowering inflation, and bringing prices down, adding, “President Trump will be talking about what is to come– the best is truly yet to come, as he often says.”
“He’ll be addressing the country about all of his historic accomplishments over the past year and maybe teasing some policy that will be coming in the new year, as we head into this Christmas season,” she continued.

But Tucker Carlson suggested that he’s heard rumors that Trump may even announce war with Venezuela tonight. “Members of Congress were briefed yesterday that a war is coming, and it’ll be announced in the address tonight,” he said. “Who knows, by the way, if that’ll actually happen? I don’t know, and I never want to overstate what I know, which is pretty limited in general.”
