Predator Rodney Johnston has been handed a stiff sentence.
The minimum time behind bars is 16 years.
A British predator who coerced a woman into having sex with a multitude of strangers for three decades has been jailed ‘for life’ with a minimum term of 16 years.
BBC reported:
“Rodney Johnston threatened the woman if she did not comply with his demands to engage in a range of sex acts with men at secluded countryside locations as well as in cars and in hotels, the court has heard.
The 67-year-old, from Starston in Norfolk, was found guilty after a trial in September, which also heard he photographed and filmed the abuse.”

Norwich Crown Court’s Judge Alice Robinson called the victim’s statement ‘harrowing’.
Police found over 30,000 images and videos of the instances of abuse, coercion that, the court heard, involved physical and verbal threats.

Judge Robinson said the victim was forced to ‘go out’ several times a week.
“’Going out became a byword for her being raped by strangers. This is rape in all but name’,” said the judge.
Robinson said she believed Johnston would remain a danger to the victim for the rest of his life.”

“In a statement released by police following the sentencing, the victim spoke of the devastating psychological toll the abuse had taken on her.
She revealed that Johnston had exploited her vulnerability, leaving her feeling ‘dirty, sick, used, degraded, humiliated and terrified’, adding that this treatment ‘became my norm’.
‘I had no voice, no choice’, she said.”
