Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson managed to completely butcher the English language, leading to widespread mockery online.
As CBS reported, the Supreme Court heard arguments on Tuesday on whether laws from Idaho and West Virginia that ban biological males from playing in girls’ and women’s sports violate the Constitution’s guarantee of equal protection and the landmark law known as Title IX.
Two bio males, Lindsay Hecox of Idaho and Becky Pepper-Jackson of West Virginia, sued their respective states, claiming they discriminate based on sex and transgender status. They claim the states’ laws ban every ‘transgender’ female from school sports, and treat them worse than others.
This is, of course, not true. West Virginia and Idaho are simply relying on science to ensure actual fair play and the rights of female athletes.
At one point during the arguments, Jackson accidentally invented a new word to describe actual girls, which has invited widespread mockery on social media.
While trying to defend biological boys playing girls’ sports, she called girls “cisginger” while describing boys pretending to be girls as “transgender.”

JACKSON: You have the overarching classification…Everybody has to, um, play on the team that is the same as their sex at birth.
Um, but then you have a gender identity definition that is operating within that, meaning a distinction…For cisginger girls they can play consistent with their gender identity.
For transgender girls, they can’t.
Social media users immediately exploded in laughter, with many harkening back to an old episode of South Park where Eric Cartman used the term “transginger.”
We have a justice who is of a similar intellect to a cartoon character.
