On Thursday, the Senate Homeland Security Committee heard testimony from the leaders of ICE and the U.S. Customs & Border Protection agency. Minnesota officials also gave testimony.
Todd M. Lyons is the senior official performing the duties of the Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). His testimony about the threats to his family and other agents is stunning.
Mr. Lyons began his federal career with the U.S. Air Force in 1993, serving in South Korea, Southeast Asia, and Europe. His civilian law enforcement career started in Florida.

With deep concerns about the doxxing of law enforcement, Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) directed questions to Director Lyons. Mr. Lyons explains that videos of his wife walking to work have been posted online. The cartels have posted the schematics (floorplans) of his home online too.
Senator Johnson explained that cartels use similar tactics in Central America, to intimidate Police Chiefs.

Director Lyons: “It’s day-to-day. As an instructor for the State of New England, I covered all of New England. If you look at the beginning of operations, the week beginning January 20th (2025) up until April, ICE officers and agents were not masked. But it’s bad.
I will use myself as an example. The week Charlie Kirk was assassinated, there was a tweet that went out that said kill Charlie Kirk,….kill Todd Lyons. Yesterday, after my testimony on Tuesday (Feb. 10th House Oversight Hearing), I went back to numerous death threats against my family.
There is a videotape of my wife walking to work that people actively posted. The cartels have actually posted the schematics (floorplans) of my home. ICE agents feel that every day.
We actually did an operation with the Secret Service where we identified doxxers who put up on telephone poles, the home addresses, and the schools where ICE Officers and Agents went to (schools where they take their own children).
I don’t want my officers masked. I would work with this committee and any committee to work with holding individuals accountable that doxx ICE agents. The threats against their families are real.”
Shortly before Mr. Lyons testimony, Senator Johnson made the following disclosure: Down in Central America, I found out that when you become a new Police Chief, you get a DVD video from the drug cartels showing your children and wife going to school, and church. It’s an explicit threat – hands off – or we’re going to do something.
It appears the heinous & evil tactics used by criminal barbarians in 3rd world countries are now officially here in the United States of America!
