Loathsome Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) stepped into a clever trap set by Bill Maher on Friday night that exposed his complete foreign policy ignorance and his unhinged Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Schiff appeared as a guest on Maher’s eponymous show “Real Time with Bill Maher” to discuss the ongoing bombing campaign in Iran.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the United States and Israel launched ‘Operation Epic Fury’ against Iran last weekend.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was eliminated in a joint military operation conducted by Israel and the United States. At least 40 other senior Iranian regime leaders were also killed in the strikes.
The bombing campaign has been hailed as a stunning success, even from Democrats and left-leaning news sources.
Schiff, a staunch critic of the conflict, was quick to criticize Trump on partisan grounds but did not find agreement with the liberal HBO host.
Maher decided to play a little game to expose Schiff as an ignorant fraud. He read a vague statement from a presidential administration on the constitutional use of military force in the national interest.
Schiff assumed the statement was from the Trump administration regarding Iran and called it “totally vague.” Then Maher broke the ‘devastating’ news to him.
The statement was actually from Obama when his regime decided to bomb Libya, which, unlike Iran, posed absolutely no threat to America.
Schiff then scrambled in a panic and started talking about Syria and Assad, attempting to wash away the fact that he had been tricked.
What a clown.

MAHER: Here’s this statement from the administration: ‘The president had the constitutional authority to direct the use of military force because he could reasonably determine that such use of force was in the national interest.’
That’s too vague for you?
SCHIFF: Totally vague!
MAHER: Okay. That’s from Obama about Libya.
SCHIFF: Well, Obama made the argument, ummm, initially that he could go into Syria without an authorization…Ultimately, he did go forward with going after Assad even though Assad was gassing his own people because he thought he might lose the vote in Congress.
