President Turmp’s border czar Tom Homan just cooked Dana Bash over Trump’s plan to send ICE agents into airports across the country.
During an interview on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday, Homan was asked about Trump’s plan to deploy ICE agents to do the work of TSA agents.
The proposal would see them temporarily replace TSA staff affected by the partial DHS shutdown and even arrest illegal aliens passing through the airport.
“With respect, if you’re doing this in 24 hours how well thought out could it possibly be?” Bash asked.
“Again, ICE has been at airports across the country for a long time, it’s just expanding those,” Homan replied.
“How much of a plan does it take to guard an exit to make sure no one comes through that exit?”
”We’re talking about security options and these officers are well trained in security and they are well trained in identification.”
“We are going to do what we can to help TSA move those people through the line.

The proposal comes as lines in airports across teh country have exploded in length because of Democratic efforts to block the funding of Homeland Security.
Videos taken at major airports show lines running well out of the airport entrances, causing delays massive disruption to people’s travel plans.

Trump first floated the idea on Saturday as negotiations to fully reopen the DHS continue to stall.
He wrote:
If the Radical Left Democrats don’t immediately sign an agreement to let our Country, in particular, our Airports, be FREE and SAFE again, I will move our brilliant and patriotic ICE Agents to the Airports where they will do Security like no one has ever seen before, including the immediate arrest of all Illegal Immigrants who have come into our Country, with heavy emphasis on those from Somalia, who have totally destroyed, with the approval of a corrupt Governor, Attorney General, and Congresswoman, Ilhan Omar, the once Great State of Minnesota.
I look forward to seeing ICE in action at our Airports.
