Another day, another total disaster courtesy of the Democrats’ endless political games.
While radical leftists in Congress play chicken with America’s security and pretend the southern border isn’t a wide-open catastrophe, hardworking TSA officers are walking off the job in droves, and American families and businesses are left holding the bag.
According to shocking new numbers dropped by the White House itself:
“400+ TSA officers have quit. $2.5 BILLION lost. Airports in chaos. Americans stuck in the fallout. All because of Democrats’ political games. Fund DHS. Now.”
That’s the cold, hard reality of what happens when Democrats refuse to do their damn jobs and fund the Department of Homeland Security like responsible adults.

The Department of Homeland Security hammered the point home on X:
“The Democrats’ political games are forcing our @TSA officers to work without pay for the THIRD time in six months — forcing many to leave the force, including 35 in New England.
This loss leaves CRITICAL gaps in staffing and significantly decreases TSA’s ability to meet passenger demand, as each new recruit requires 4-6 MONTHS of training.”
Each new TSA recruit requires 4 to 6 months of training, meaning the system cannot rapidly recover from these losses. In the meantime, airports are left understaffed, passengers are left waiting, and security operations are stretched dangerously thin.

The ongoing Department of Homeland Security shutdown is taking its toll on the thousands of Transportation Security Administration employees at airports who have been working without pay.
Approximately 60,000 TSA officers who have gone over a month with partial pay began receiving their first $0 paychecks last week.
Many say they are living in fear, with some taking on extra jobs or even leaving the agency altogether to make ends meet.
And if there is no relief soon, veteran TSA leaders fear that the stress and uncertainty could impact operations for years.
On Saturday, billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has offered to cover the salaries of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel during the ongoing partial government shutdown affecting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
“I would like to offer to pay the salaries of TSA personnel during this funding impasse that is negatively affecting the lives of so many Americans at airports throughout the country,” Musk wrote in a post on his platform X.
