The Democrat party’s “values” are on full display once again, and it is absolutely sickening.
Disgraced former North Carolina State Representative Cecil Brockman, a Democrat, has been slammed with eight child sex charges, including multiple counts that each carry the potential for life in prison.
As The Gateway Pundit first reported back in October 2025, this predator Democrat was initially arrested and charged with multiple felony child sex crimes after allegedly preying on a 15-year-old boy he met on the gay dating app Grindr.
Brockman reportedly lived with the underage victim, used his official position as a state lawmaker to try to track the teen down after he went missing (even calling 911 himself), and police later found disturbing videos on the boy’s phone linking Brockman to the acts.
Brockman resigned in disgrace shortly after his arrest to avoid an expulsion vote, but the hits just keep coming.
Now, fresh indictments have piled on even more serious charges. According to court records and local reports, Brockman is now staring down eight total child sex-related felonies, with at least four counts of statutory sex offense with a child, each one punishable by life behind bars.

Brockman appeared before a judge on Monday in court. He’s facing four new charges of statutory sex offense with a child. Brockman asked for a court-appointed attorney during his appearance.

Brockman was charged with two felony counts of statutory sex offense with a child and two felony counts of indecent liberties with a child. Brockman’s attorney at that time, Alec Carpenter, claimed that you must be 18 years old to use Grindr and Brockman didn’t realize the victim was underage. A clearly agitated Brockman claimed his innocence during a Nov. 3 bond hearing.
Appearing in court via video monitor, Brockman said,
“I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY LIES ARE BEING ACCEPTED WITHOUT THERE BEING A REBUTTAL TO THOSE LIES. I WOULD AT LEAST LIKE TO TALK TO MY ATTORNEY SO I COULD TELL A REBUTTAL TO ALL THE LIES THAT THE STATE IS SUGGESTING.”

Brockman could face life in prison for any one of the four new charges. His next court date is in May.
