As “Pride Month 2026” kicks off, major children’s entertainment brands are once again flooding social media and theme parks with rainbow messaging aimed squarely at preschoolers and toddlers.
The deliberate indoctrination of the youngest kids who can’t even tie their shoes yet has been going on every June (and in some cases, year-round) for years.
Disney is rolling out the rainbows across its Florida parks for the entire month.
At EPCOT, the rainbow mural is back outside Connections Cafe. Hollywood Studios features a Mickey Balloon Pride photo op with 11 different Pride-flag balloons. Magic Kingdom has the Mickey Pride mural and a Pride Slushy at Astrofizz. Merchandise and special drinks are everywhere, Breitbart News reports.
The ultra-popular YouTube kids’ channel Cocomelon, watched by millions of babies and toddlers, posted celebrating Pride on Instagram.

“Happy Pride Month, from CoComelon” with a row of rainbow-colored heart emojis.
Parents flooded the comments with backlash.
“Why are we introducing our babies to this?” one user wrote, another added that “There is no need to” post such content.

Many said they were unfollowing.
Nickelodeon’s Peppa Pig, aimed at ages 2-5, posted on social media, “Happy Pride Month to all our friends!” with a rainbow emoji.
The full caption reads, “We’re celebrating the joy of being yourself and the many wonderful families and friendships that make our world special.”
The video was a cartoon about having “two mommies.”
PBS’s Sesame Street posted a rainbow-colored image of the characters with the message: “Happy #PrideMonth from Sesame Street! Join us in celebrating and uplifting the LGBTQIA+ members of our community. Everyone is always welcome on Sesame Street.”

The post sparked immediate backlash, with thousands of people calling it inappropriate for toddlers.
Pop Crave shared an image of the Teletubbies, targeted at ages 1-4, standing in front of rainbow colors with the text “Happy Pride.”

The post triggered a wave of angry replies on X, including “Kids don’t need to know who y’all are f-cking,” “Another kids show,” and “Why on earth is a kids show promoting pride… That sends a message to me that they think it’s ok for toddlers… to know about ANY kind of sex.”
The same brands have faced criticism in prior years for similar social media posts, drag queen appearances in kids’ programming, such as Nickelodeon’s past Blue’s Clues Pride Parade, and the introduction of same-sex parent characters.
