Yale University has stooped to a new low according to Campus Reform “Despite its reputation as one of the most prestigious and academically rigorous schools in the world, Yale University is set to offer more than a dozen courses focused on racism, racial oppression, and white supremacy in the upcoming fall semester as tuition continues to rise.”
In other words DEI is back!
One of the more outregeous courses being offered is called is That Racist?: Theory and Methods for Diagnosing and Demonstrating Racism,” which promises to teach students “a broad range of ways social theorists have defined the term and methods they have used to demonstrate” racism.”
In other words students are being taught to see racism everywhere including in places where it dosn’t exist.
“The course also asks students to examine “who benefits and who suffers from a given definition” of racism and how “racism functions across contexts” in the United States.”
This sounds like an attempt by academia to yet again blame everything on White people and America all the while crying racism!
Another outrageous course is Philosophy, Race, and Racism” asks whether racism is best understood “in terms of notions like ‘racial oppression’ and ‘white supremacy.’
This is objectivly absurd and implies racism and discrimination can only go in one direction.
Other courses examine so called economic racism, What is Racial Capitalism?,”examines what the course description calls the relationship between racial hierarchy and capital accumulation. The seminar also explores what it describes as the “Black Radical Tradition.”
One can imagine the outcry if a course studied anti White discrimination.
“Another course, “Black Modernisms,” uses “theoretical tools provided by Black Studies and Queer of Color Feminisms” as a central framework for examining cultural and intellectual movements.”
“Students planning to enroll in any of these courses next semester can expect to pay $69,900 per year for tuition alone, or $90,550 for the estimated total cost of attendance.”
This is all absurd but as has been reported previously at The Gateway Pundit DEI remains a problem and universities remain a center of far left indoctrination.
Americans are being asked to pay absurd amounts of money in order to learn Queer and racially charged studies not a good deal!
