Pro-life activist Savannah Craven Antao was viciously attacked in broad daylight by an unhinged pro-abortion radical simply for speaking out in defense of the unborn.
Savannah, a fearless advocate with the pro-life organization Live Action, was on the streets of Harlem conducting peaceful interviews with New Yorkers for a video project titled “What Does Planned Parenthood Do? Perception vs. Reality?” when the attack occurred.
The goal? To educate the public about the horrors of abortion and the truth behind America’s largest abortion provider.
But one radical pro-abortion extremist had no interest in civil discourse.
According to Savannah and her husband, Henry Antao, a woman initially engaged in polite conversation—even offering compliments. But the moment she realized Savannah was pro-life, her tone shifted dramatically. Then she snapped.
Without warning, the woman began to violently punch Savannah in the face—twice—before attempting to attack her again, according to Live Action.
Thankfully, Savannah’s husband intervened and placed himself between his wife and the assailant before calling 911. Savannah was rushed to the hospital, where she received stitches for her injuries.
Savannah:
“The conversation was going okay. She was obviously a very outspoken woman from the beginning. She came up to me and said, “Oh my gosh, I love your dress. You look so cute.” She complimented my husband on his skin tone and said, “You guys are so cute.” Then we just got to talking.
Immediately, I could tell that she was pro-abortion and not aligned with me. But like I do in my videos, I’m never rude to people—I just challenge them with simple questions. And it always ends up triggering them, as a lot of you guys know.
At one point, she said to me that she thinks we should kill all the kids in foster care.
I wanted to make sure I heard her correctly. I asked if she was serious and restated her answer. And sage—oh my gosh, you guys are so funny. I might become an MMA fighter after this, you never know. I have battle wounds to prove how strong I am.
But she said that about kids in foster care, and I was like, “Oh, that’s really violent and interesting.” Then she started cussing me out, facing the camera.”
In a chilling clip from the incident, the assailant—clearly agitated by the conversation—told Savannah, “You don’t understand the magnitude of having a child.”
Savannah calmly replied, “I’m not the one who admitted they would be okay with killing babies in foster care and killing children that had been abused.”
The aggressor was unable to handle the moral clarity of Savannah’s words and snapped, replying, “That’s not my point, what I am saying…” before launching her cowardly assault.

Savannah’s husband, Henry Antao, heroically stepped in to shield his wife from further harm as the assailant geared up for another.
“I, Henry Antao and my wife, Savannah Craven Antao, were out on the street in Harlem doing some street interviews. My wife Savannah Craven Antao was assaulted by a pro-abortion woman we were interviewing on the street,” Henry told Live Action.
“The woman became aggressive and violent upon learning Savannah’s pro-life stance. I intervened to protect my wife, and we immediately called 911.
The police now have the assailant’s photo and description, and conservatives across the nation are demanding swift justice for this blatant act of thuggery.

“We are pro-life activists because ending abortion and protecting babies from the violence that Parenthood commits is the most important issue of our lifetime,” he added.
Savannah later posted on X: “In the hospital recovering. I had to get stitches. Thank you all for your support.”

Lila Rose, president and founder of Live Action, issued a powerful statement in response to the vicious attack.
“Today, Savannah Craven, a pro-life reporter working with Live Action, was physically assaulted while peacefully exercising her First Amendment rights by conducting on-the-street interviews in New York City. She was engaging passersby with a simple question: ‘Do you know what Planned Parenthood does?’
“During one of these conversations, a pro-abortion individual became enraged upon learning Savannah was pro-life and brutally punched her in the face.”
“We are deeply grateful for the work Savannah has done to protect preborn children and help end abortion in our nation. Her bravery in the face of violence is heroic. We are grateful she is safe and receiving support. No one should ever face physical assault for expressing their views in public.
We will not be intimidated. Live Action will continue our goal to defund Planned Parenthood—which kills over 1,000 children every day while receiving more than $700 million in taxpayer funding. We remain committed to our mission to completely abolish abortion and ensure every child is protected under the law.”
