A black male juror has been dismissed by Judge Arun Subramanian over the protests of Diddy’s lawyers.
As it was widely anticipated, a black male juror at Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sex-trafficking trial has been officially dismissed today (16) after the Judger found that he had ‘shaded his answers’ to be on the case.
Presiding judge Arun Subramanian has said on Friday that he was likely going to let ‘Juror 6’ go after ‘he allegedly lied about where he lives’.
The New York Post reported:
“Monday morning, the judge made it official, saying, ‘The record raised serious questions about the juror shading his answers to be on the jury’.
Juror 6, who is black, was replaced by ‘Alternate 1’, who is white — over vigorous objections from Combs’ lawyers that this would reduce the panel’s diversity.”
Judge: The record raised serious concerns about the juror shading his answers to be on the jury. The shifting answers raised questions about the juror’s credibility. So the Court indicated Juror 6 should be dismissed. The defense now urges further questioning

Besides that question with ‘Juror 6’, there is also a ‘mysterious issue’ with yet another juror that judge Subramanian will address at the end of the day, by questioning them.

“Judge: ‘As to the issue about another juror that arose on Friday [in sealed session]. So, I will question that juror at the end of today’s session. The parties should tell me if we clear the courtroom, or do it in the robing room’.”

The alternate panelist substituting ‘Juror 6’ is a 57-year-old white male architect from Westchester with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
