According to investigators, a young Italian couple was ambushed in a secluded Roman park after parking their car for a quiet moment together.
Within minutes, several men—now identified as foreign nationals—converged on the vehicle and smashed the windows before dragging the 24-year-old boyfriend out into the darkness.
The woman, only 18, was forced from the car moments later, desperately trying to shield herself as the attackers surrounded her.
Police say the boyfriend was pinned down by two of the assailants while the others dragged his fiancée a short distance away and raped her as he screamed for help.
When the ordeal ended, the perpetrators vanished into the night, leaving the terrified couple to contact authorities on their own.
Italian police later arrested three Moroccan men, tracing them through fingerprints lifted from the shattered glass and other evidence gathered quietly during the investigation.
Authorities believe the assault may have begun as a robbery—the couple’s belongings were taken—but quickly escalated into something far more violent.
The attack has rightly fueled intense public anger, in part because it mirrors a disturbing pattern that has emerged across Western Europe, where similar crimes have repeatedly involved foreign-born suspects who were already known to authorities.
In Italy alone, recent cases include the rape of a 13-year-old girl in Catania by a group of migrants, the alleged sexual assault of a 10-year-old by an asylum seeker in Lombardy, and multiple gang-rape investigations involving men who had previous records or deportation orders.

These attacks have revived simmering questions about why hundreds of thousands of military-aged migrant men from alien cultures—often with criminal histories, prior arrests, or no legal status—continue to move freely across the continent.
Ascendent right-wing populist parties argue that Europe’s liberal-globalist elite have, for the past decade plus, enacted catastrophic migration policies, failing completely to safeguard and protect their own citizens, while refusing to acknowledge the consequences.
