First Lady Melania Trump unveiled the White House Christmas decorations on Monday.
“This Christmas, let’s celebrate the love we hold within ourselves and share it with the world around us. After all, wherever we are, we can create a home filled with endless possibilities,” First Lady Melania said.
“Home Is Where the Heart Is,” Melania said. “AMERICA’S CHRISTMAS”
– The East Room is decorated patriotically to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary of the birth of the United States.
– The Red Room’s theme is ‘Fostering the Future’
– The Green Room’s theme is ‘Family Fun’
– Over 25,000 feet of ribbon
– More than 2,000 strands of lights
– 120 pounds of gingerbread
– More than 700 feet of garland
– 51 Christmas trees with large red velvet bows
– 75 wreaths
– More than 10,000 blue butterflies.
– A 6,000-piece Lego portrait of President Trump
