A man fatally stabbed a woman at a Barnes & Noble bookstore in Florida on Monday evening.
40-year-old Antonio Moore stabbed 65-year-old Rita Loncharich in a Palm Beach Gardens Barnes & Noble and ran out of the store.
Loncharich was transported to a hospital and died from her injuries.
Moore was arrested early Tuesday morning and charged with first-degree premeditated murder.
The victim’s husband said, according to police, Moore is a homeless man from Alabama who had been in Florida for a few weeks.
“Rita Loncharich’s husband says moments after the attack Monday night, his wife called him on her cell phone, telling him she had just been stabbed,” CBS Austin reported.
Police say a motive for the stabbing is unknown at this time.
