Pam Bondi’s portrait was taken down and thrown into a trash can after President Trump fired her as Attorney General, according to MS NOW.
Trump fired Bondi as US Attorney General on Wednesday evening before he delivered his Iran speech.
According to reports, Trump was not happy with Bondi’s leadership at the Department of Justice.
Bondi’s official portrait was tossed into a Justice Department garbage can within hours of her firing.
Recall that Bondi personally removed portraits of Joe Biden, Harris and Merrick Garland and set them aside last year.
Attorney General @PamBondi went into the DOJ in DC today and noticed that on the walls in one wing they still have big framed photos of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Merrick Garland.
This is “ridiculous” three weeks into Donald Trump’s presidency.
So she took down the photos…

“Within hours of the news that President Trump had fired Attorney General Pam Bondi, images began to circulate of her official framed portrait, unceremoniously removed from its place of honor near the President and Vice President on the walls of Justice Department offices,” MS NOW reported.
“Current and former Justice Department officials say it’s a reflection of how deeply unpopular Bondi was with career officials and agents, thousands of whom left the department rather than follow her orders,” the outlet said.
MS NOW obtained a photo of Bondi’s portrait in a trash can.

According to Fox News, there is no “bad blood” between Trump and Bondi.
President Trump said Bondi will transition to a role in the private sector, although he did not offer any further details.
“Pam Bondi is a Great American Patriot and a loyal friend, who faithfully served as my Attorney General over the past year. Pam did a tremendous job overseeing a massive crackdown in Crime across our Country, with Murders plummeting to their lowest level since 1900,” Trump said in a Truth Social post.
President Trump said Bondi’s new job in the private sector will be announced in the near future.
“We love Pam, and she will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future, and our Deputy Attorney General, and a very talented and respected Legal Mind, Todd Blanche, will step in to serve as Acting Attorney General. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP” Trump said.
Later Thursday, Pam Bondi said she will be working to transition the office of Attorney General to Todd Blanche before moving to a private sector role.
Full statement from Bondi:
Over the next month I will be working tirelessly to transition the office of Attorney General to the amazing Todd Blanche before moving to an important private sector role I am thrilled about, and where I will continue fighting for President Trump and this Administration.
Leading President Trump’s historic and highly successful efforts to make America safer and more secure has been the honor of a lifetime, and easily the most consequential first year of the Department of Justice in American history.
Since February 2025, we have secured the lowest murder rate in 125 years, secured first-ever terrorism convictions against members of Antifa, shattered domestic and transnational gangs across the country, taken custody of more than 90 key cartel figures, and won 24 favorable rulings at the Supreme Court.
I remain eternally grateful for the trust that President Trump placed in me to Make America Safe Again.

EPA Chief Lee Zeldin is reportedly in the running to replace Pam Bondi.
In the meantime, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche will serve as Acting Attorney General.
“Pam Bondi led this Department with strength and conviction and I’m grateful for her leadership and friendship,” Blanche said in a statement.
“Thank you to President Trump for the trust and the opportunity to serve as Acting Attorney General,” Blanche said.
“We will continue backing the blue, enforcing the law, and doing everything in our power to keep America safe,” he added.
