President Trump woke up this Memorial Day in a fighting mood and had a message for his Democrat enemies after releasing a touching statement earlier this morning.
As The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft reported, Trump released a very moving Memorial Day statement this year, honoring the extraordinary service of selfless men and women who safeguard our liberty and preserve our way of life.
“The greatest fighting force the world has ever known is built upon the extraordinary service of selfless men and women who safeguard our liberty and preserve our way of life,” the statement reads in part, “Since the birth of our Nation nearly 250 years ago, countless souls have lost their lives in this noble and righteous pursuit. On Memorial Day, we honor these American heroes.”
“America endures in strength, power, and prosperity because of the awe-inspiring selflessness and valor of those in uniform willing to lay down their lives in its defense, “the statement continues. “From the frozen fields of Valley Forge and the beaches of Normandy to the jungles of Vietnam and the mountains of Afghanistan, the sacrifice across our Armed Forces is the foundation upon which our Republic stands.”
“Today, we especially remember the 13 members of the Joint Force who have fallen in support of Operation Epic Fury to defend our national security and preserve the blessings of liberty for future generations. These warfighters lost their lives for freedom’s cause, and we will never forget the cost.”
Over on Truth Social, however, Trump had a caustic message that will not make Democrats very happy because of how honest it is.
Notice how he uses a new nickname for the party as well: ‘Dumocrats.’
“Happy Memorial Day to all, including the Dumocrats, who disrespect our Military and all of the tremendous success that it has had over the last year,” Trump wrote.
“God Bless those that have made the ultimate sacrifice. I love you all! President DONALD J. TRUMP”
Trump’s post reportedly refers to criticism over a possible peace deal to end the Iran War, which Democrats and RINOS have blasted.
As The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported, Trump has said there is a “largely negotiated” peace deal with Iran that awaits final approval from all parties. Axios claims it includes a 60-day ceasefire, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, and continued negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program, according to US officials familiar with the discussions.
Trump, though, does not want to rush into the deal and suggested that the reporting is off.
“If I make a deal with Iran, it will be a good and proper one, not like the one made by Obama, which gave Iran massive amounts of CASH, and a clear and open path to a Nuclear Weapon,” he wrote on Truth Social.
“Our deal is the exact opposite, but nobody has seen it, or knows what it is. It isn’t even fully negotiated yet. So don’t listen to the losers, who are critical about something they know nothing about.”
