The evil demon who savagely murdered an innocent Ukrainian immigrant in cold blood last year will not be standing trial at this time in his federal case because of his supposed ‘mental state.’
The finding came after what officials called a “lengthy process” that included interviews and a review of medical records.

The man accused of killing a young woman on a North Carolina light-rail train has been deemed incompetent to stand trial in his federal case following a mental evaluation.
Decarlos Brown Jr., 34, is charged in the fatal stabbing of Ukrainian woman Iryna Zarutska, 23, while aboard the light-rail Lynx Blue Line in Charlotte on Aug. 22, 2025.
Brown is expected to be committed to a special facility under the direction of the U.S. attorney general for treatment aimed at restoring competency. If he is later found competent, the federal case could resume.
Brown could face the death penalty if the federal case proceeds. However, a defendant who is found incompetent cannot be tried or executed while incompetent.
As TGP’s Cassandra MacDonald previously reported, a Bureau of Prisons evaluation conducted found that Brown was also incompetent to stand trial on his state charges.
This is all a travesty of justice, especially when Brown knew exactly what he was doing when he killed poor Iryna.
As previously reported, an affidavit obtained by the Charlotte Observer suggests that Brown Jr. suffers from mental health issues. In the affidavit, he claimed someone gave him a “man-made” material that controlled his life, especially when he ate, walked, and talked.
However, millions of Americans suffer from a variety of mental illnesses every day, yet they manage not to murder helpless women.
Another reason to doubt Brown was completely deluded is that there is footage of his apparently saying, “I got that White girl,” following the murder.
This suggests a potential racial component, blowing up whatever ludicrous insanity defense his lawyer will try to claim.
